Greater Austin Regional Science and Engineering Fair

The Science Fair promotes the study of science and technology among our students, strengthening the Central Texas economy and increasing educational levels. It is one of the few regional science fairs in Texas that includes competition for elementary students as a way of encouraging early interest in the sciences and is among the largest of Texas' 15 science fairs.

We are affiliated with the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair and comply with all of its rules and guidelines.

Who Participates?

The Greater Austin Regional Science and Engineering Fair serves elementary, middle and high school students from across Central Texas. This includes Bastrop, Brazos, Burleson, Caldwell, Colorado, Comanche, Fayette, Lavaca, Lee, Mills, Travis, Washington, Williamson, and northern Hays counties.
